Pakopaneeli runs locally on a Windows PC. Internet is needed for license activation and periodic verification — the game itself runs on your LAN.

License
Where do I get a license key?
Basic, Pro, and Studio keys are delivered by email after payment. A 30-day trial starts at install with no key. Request a quote on the contact page.
Key will not activate
Check internet connection and that the full key was copied. In the control panel: License → enter key → Activate. Error messages explain why (expired, revoked, device quota).
Can I play offline?
Yes. A paid license works offline for up to 30 days after the last online verification. The free install trial is 30 days. After trial without a key, the app switches to Basic mode (no video or branding).
Install & updates
Windows warns about an unknown publisher
The app is not code-signed yet. Choose More info →Run anyway. Signing will come in production.
How do I update?
Download the latest zip, extract, and run install-service.bat again. The control panel shows a notice if a newer version is available.
Where are the media folders?
Audio: Music\Pakopaneeli (.mp3). Videos: Videos\Pakopaneeli. Studio multi-room: subfolder per room ID (e.g. Music\Pakopaneeli\room-2).
Usage
Video will not start on the player display
First press Tap here to start on the player page (browser autoplay policy). Make sure video is not locked in Basic mode — activate a Pro/Studio key or use trial time.
Control from another device
Use the control panel Setup & links section: pick the PC LAN address and open control on your phone on the same Wi‑Fi (http://<ip>:5000/control).
Multi-room (Studio)
Create rooms in the control panel. Each room gets its own player URL: /?room=room-id. Rooms are isolated — timer, audio, and video do not mix.
Stats and scoreboard (Studio)
With a Studio license (or trial), open Stats in the control panel for logs and statistics. For a lobby TV open /scoreboard (shared) or /scoreboard?room=room-id (per room). Data stays on the venue PC — not in the cloud.
